I’m Shauna Damboise, founder of Fancy Fox Travel, based in Portland, Maine. I plan trips for people who want to travel well, feel confident in their choices, and stop overthinking every last detail.

Travel has always been part of my life. It runs straight through my family. My great grandparents stood at the pyramids. My mom chased adventure wherever she could find it and honestly believed the more off the grid, the better. If it felt a little uncomfortable or unfamiliar, she was probably all in. I grew up believing that seeing the world was not a luxury. It was part of a well lived life.

That belief sits at the center of Fancy Fox Travel.

A Fancy Fox loves travel but doesn’t want to spend nights buried in hotel reviews or wondering if they made the wrong call. I start by listening. How do you like to travel. What matters most to you. What do you want this trip to feel like when you look back on it. From there, I design a trip that fits you, not a template. Hotels, cruises, transportation, pacing, and logistics are lined up thoughtfully so everything makes sense and flows naturally.

 

Working with a travel advisor isn’t about giving up control. It’s about making decisions with clarity and confidence. Most hotels, cruises, and resorts already include advisor compensation in their pricing. When you work with me, you’re not paying more.
